Three years ago I had a “hobby”, as my wife liked to call it, and that was my business. I wasn’t making any profits, my gross revenues were increasing, I was hiring employees, and I couldn’t figure out why my profits had gone to zero.
I got a video from Sterling in the mail and thought for the first time that somebody else actually understood what was happening to me. I’d been to other places for help before Sterling and I got canned, nicely packaged programs that gave no considerations of what was really happening to me. Based upon the idea that they really understood what was happening to me, I took a chance and went to a couple of courses at Sterling.
The courses helped me to see what I had done to turn my business into a hobby. And there were solutions given to me to change it. A big problem I had was that I was hiring people that I liked rather than people that were productive and good for the business. I looked at this problem and asked what can I do about it? That’s were Sterling came in with help and support that I needed. With their help I began to hire a new type of employee. The results of that are less stress on me from non-productive employees, more time off, return to profitability, and a more fun office environment. My hobby vanished and turned into a business that I like to come into every day. It’s a fun place to be. I’m helping others and reaching my goals.
Without Sterling I would have quit the business. I would have gotten a job working for big company and lost my motivation to help others. They gave me the tools and systems that worked.
I rediscovered the reasons why I got into business in the first place. I’m sure glad I did that.
